My job as a Project Manger is to ensure that this project is on schedule and on budget. The quality of work Class 1 is doing is very good - they are a top notch company. I'm satisfied with the progress of the work, thus far, and very happy with Bruno and his crew.
On this project we are utilizing Class 1 headwalls, bed locators, as well as individual medical gas outlets and nitrogen control panels. They've been very accommodating, very friendly to work with and always a pleasure to speak to on the phone. They are always there to support us in getting the final products we require both in a timely and efficient manner.
Class 1 has been a supplier for a number of years, primarily in the medical gas technology and specialty. They came in and actually did a major retrofit on our medical vacuum systems. It was an older system prior to that, that had sort of run out its efficiency and usefulness and Class 1's introduction of a brand new oilless system certainly proved instrumental in giving us stability. It's personal to them to help satisfy your needs. It's almost like dealing with the small independent but obviously you know it's much more than that behind the scenes.
Class 1 was able to provide us with systems that were waterless and oilless. Since then we've been working with them on headwall development and source plant development and they do all of our preventative maintenance as well. I've seen all the Class 1 workers working together as a team and I can tell you that, that, makes my life so much easier to know that they all work together. They are there to satisfy their customer's needs and I can really appreciate that as a customer.
A lot of people think that you need some local output to deal with because of service. Class 1 - if we needed some small individual items that could be put onto a plane -if I can phone them by 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon, I have it by 9:00 o'clock the next morning. I can't get that kind of service from an outfit in Alberta.
In my past experience that I've worked with Class 1, we've had just great response and help. I'd recommend them for anyone looking forward to a great product.
