Marketing Coordinator

Class 1 Inc. – Cambridge, ON

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Sales & Project Management Coordinator will be working to assist the marketing team with day-to-day marketing tasks, marketing projects and activities such as the production of artwork, print and Ad buying and trade-show coordination.

Responsibilities and Duties


  • Confirm trade show registrations completed by due dates
  • Coordinate with trade show contacts for advance shipping/receiving and general coordination of upcoming shows
  • Coordinate collateral required for show with internal Class 1 shipping dept. to ensure that all required components are gathered
  • Work with Class 1 internal shipping to arrange for trade show items to be delivered to the correct booth, and have return shipping to Class 1 arranged
  • Maintain inventory of marketing brochures, giveaways (pens/mugs),arrange for re-ordering as required


  • Work on all new brochure designs, proofing and print approvals
  • Manage E-updates and company presence online: tweets, E-newsletters, LinkedIn
  • Maintain website with current product information and marketing materials
  • Update all cut-sheets and product brochures as directed
  • Design, write, acquire sign off and post news releases and articles as directed
  • Staff changes/updates, contact detail updates etc....
  • Manage the news release section of the Class 1 website as directed


  • Support Project Manager in administration of their duties as time permits (or as directed by manager)
  • Assist customers with product inquiries
  • Enter customer orders in BV and follow up with purchasing if needed
  • Coordinate customer deliveries

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate with previous experience in a similar marketing role (coop experience accepted).
  • Confident and outgoing personality with a high level of customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Well organized and self-motivated.
  • Excellent command of spoken, written English with copy accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Must know and understand advanced features of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
