Class 1 was honoured to receive a visit from Daiene Vernile, the MPP for Kitchener-Centre on Feb 4, 2016. Daiene and Special Assistant Dorothy McCabe received a tour of the Class 1 facility from Barry Hunt (CEO, President) and Marian Marshall (Vice President of Operations), after a meeting to review the company’s newest technology developments in engineered infection prevention. Daiene also met with Class 1’s R & D team and congratulated them on developing and launching Halogenated Drug Recovery (HDR) recently at Grand River Hospital. HDR is the world’s first globally scalable technology that centrally captures and recovers anesthetic greenhouse gases released by operating rooms.
